As a result of a road traffic collision earlier today (Friday 28th August) at 17:50hrs, the A470 just north of Dolgellau is currently impassable and is likely to remain closed in both directions until at least 2200hrs this evening whilst police carry out their investigations. Diversions are in place.
The collision involved three vehicles, a landrover, a car and a caravan. Four casualties have been transferred to Ysbyty Gwynedd with serious but non life threatening injuries – a man was airlifted to the hospital and two women and another man were transported via ambulance.
