Two men are currently in police custody after being arrested following a robbery in Rhuddlan last night (Saturday, 6th March).
Shortly after 11pm North Wales Police were informed that a robbery had taken place at KFC whereby a man climbed through the serving hatch window and stole cash from the tills.
The man then left the premises on foot.
Police were alerted and a search of the area was carried out.
Shortly after the incident police arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of robbery.
Following further investigations overnight, a 21 year old man was also arrested in connection with the offence during the early hours of this morning, and both men remain in custody at St Asaph.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident which left staff shocked but uninjured. They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen a blue transit type van in the vicinity of the scene.
