Police in Cardiff are investigating an incident which occurred at around 10.55pm on Friday 7th February.
It happened outside Chapter Arts Centre on Market Place in Canton when a taxi driver was the victim of a robbery.
Detectives are appealing for any witnesses to this crime and believe there were several people in the area at the time.
Three white males in their late teens, one of which markedly taller than the other two and all wearing dark clothing with their hoods up intimidated the victim into handing over a small quantity of money before assaulting him. They then made off.
Two male youths aged 15 and 16 have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released on police bail.
