Roger Lewis Urges Voters to go out and Vote

The ‘Yes for Wales’ campaign has urged voters to ‘go out and vote Yes’ in tomorrow’s referendum on the future of the National Assembly.

Addressing voters at an eve of polling day event at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff, Roger Lewis, Chair of the Yes for Wales campaign said:

“This is crunch time. We’ve taken our message to thousands of people across the country and the response on the ground has been very positive. People recognise that it makes sense that laws which affect the people of Wales are made in Wales.  But we’re not taking anything for granted. It’s vital that people make the effort tomorrow to go out and vote Yes for a stronger voice for Wales.”

Roger Lewis was joined at the event by former First Minister and local AM Rhodri Morgan; Katie Dalton, President, National Union of Students; Caroline Oag, Cymru Yfory; and Ali Yassine, Vice Chair, Yes for Wales, before taking to the streets of Cardiff for a final day of campaigning.
