South Wales Police are currently dealing with a road traffic collison on the A470 Southbound at Natgarw which occurred around 10:15 am this morning.
The incident is in its very early stages but a vehicle appears to have left the carriageway and collided with street furniture.
The sole occupant of the vehicle was a female who has been taken to hospital. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.
Due to the collison, the Southbound carriageway has been closed temporarily and members of the public are urged to avoid the area.
