David Jones MP was pleased to hear that the proposed traffic calming measures on Erw Goch, Bryn Rhydd and Lon Speiriol Uchaf in Ruthin have been withdrawn.
David Jones MP intervened on behalf of local residents by writing to Denbighshire County Council expressing their concerns.
Residents were concerned that the speed bumps would lead to further chaos on the already highly-congested road.
David Jones said:
“I am pleased that the proposal has been withdrawn as it was a cause of concern for a lot of people.
“I fully understand the need for traffic calming measures, but the introduction of speed bumps would not have been the answer.”
