Ruthin Police Station has a new recruit – he can be seen keeping a watchful eye on everything that’s going on.
“999 where are you?” is the name of the policeman scarecrow who has been standing in the garden next door to the station for the past few weeks.
He is there as part of a competitiion being run by a group known as “Ruthin Forward,” who are trying to bring the community together and create an interest for people to visit Ruthin.
The competition, which runs throughout this week, invites children to walk around and spot the scarecrows. There is then a clue for them to find their names.
Further details opn the competition can be found on the Ruthin Forward website at www.ruthinforward.co.uk
