Is your child due to move to secondary school in September 2010?
The deadline for parents to apply for a secondary school place for their child for this September is the 29th January 2010.
The County Council is urging parents to make every effort to meet this deadline as children whose parents make a written application for a school place by the deadline will be allocated places ahead of those who do not, regardless of their home address.
The form needs to be completed even if the request is for a school outside Pembrokeshire or an SEN Unit.
It is not sufficient to inform the headteacher of your child’s primary school verbally as it is the County Council, and not individual secondary schools, who is responsible for admissions.
