Padre Pio RC Primary School is holding a sports festival on Friday 2 July at 11am.
Year-6 pupils from Padro Pio, Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbran, Ysgol Bryn Onnen, George Street Primary and Our Lady of the Angels RC Primary will take part in the event.
It will feature mountain bikes, a climbing wall, inflatable five-a-side football and Dragon Sports workshops in netball, rugby, football and golf. The workshops will be led by year-12 pupils from St Alban’s RC High School.
There will be an opportunity for all the children in Padre Pio from reception to year-5 to take part in all the activities after the year-6 pupils have finished.
The school’s PFA will also be running a summer fete on the day.
