Searches will continue today for a 33-year-old man who has been missing since Saturday, 3rd April.
Stephen Roberts, who is from the Saltney area, was reported missing on Saturday evening and police are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety and welfare.
Mr Roberts is described as being approx 5ft 10 inches tall and of medium build. He has short mousey coloured hair which is thinning and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a light grey heavy knit cardigan, light blue jeans and off-white coloured trainers.
Mr Roberts’ car – a grey coloured BMW 330, registration – NK55 YCO, was found by police officers at a location near to the Ponderosa café on top of the Horseshoe Pass on Saturday night.
This is an area which is frequented by many visitors and police are appealing to anybody who may have seen him to contact them.
Searches involving North Wales Police, the force helicopter, SARDA and North East Wales Mountain Rescue have been carried out in the Horseshoe Pass area; however there have been no sightings of Mr Roberts.
Enquiries are continuing today (Monday, 5th April) and police are appealing to anybody who may have seen Mr Roberts, or anybody who may know of his whereabouts to contact North Wales Police on 101, if you are calling from Wales, 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0845 607 1002 (English line).
