North Wales Police have stepped up their search for a man who has been missing from Conwy since Thursday February 3.
29 year old Justin Mathis, landlord of The Bridge Hotel, Conwy, was last seen at approximately 11.50pm on Thursday February 3 walking alone along the quayside towards the Liverpool Arms public house.
He is described as being of slim build, 6ft 6in tall with dark brown hair and when last seen he was wearing a green jumper, dark blue jeans, a three quarter length black overcoat and black lace up boots.
T/Chief Inspector Iestyn Davies said: “We have increased our search following the discovery of a boot on the coastline of the Conwy estuary and this has been identified as identical to the boot worn by Mr Mathis when he went missing.
“As a result the police helicopter has been helping in the search today and we are also working very closely with the coastguard, the RNLI and have also called in an underwater search team who will be conducting searches over the forthcoming days.”
“We would urge anyone who has any information about his whereabouts or who may have seen him to contact North Wales Police as soon as possible.”
