Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire AM Angela Burns added, “Between the attendees at the meeting, they employ a significant number of people in Pembrokeshire and pump millions into the local economy. We need to ensure these businesses have the right environment in which to develop and continue contributing to the economic well being of the county”.
Colin Orr Burns said, “We were very pleased to have this opportunity for a frank and open discussion with the Secretary of State and our local AM Angela Burns, I believe that it was very beneficial for all parties, as mutual understanding on energy issues is important not just for achieving economic growth in Pembrokeshire but also for ensuring long-term energy security for the UK as a whole.
