South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision that occurred on a road adjacent to the Riverside Caravan Park at Ynysforgan, Morriston, Swansea at approximately 5.50 pm on Monday 14 April 2014.
This was a single vehicle collision where a silver Ford Mondeo estate left a road running below the railway embankment at the location and was in collision with some trees.
The male driver aged 47 years suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
Two passengers a 47 year old male and a 21 year old female suffered less serious injuries and were taken to Morriston Hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or to the driving of the vehicle beforehand to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
