Primary school children from Ysgol y Foel, Cilcain; Nannerch VCP School; and Ysgol y Waun, Gwernaffield will all be performing at a Shakespearean afternoon at the Alun School, Mold, on Thursday 24 March.
The young pupils from the three schools have all been working alongside each other, studying Shakespeare, and, as part of their studies, they have put together a small play with the help of the drama studio at the Alun School, and some of the Alun’s year seven pupils.
The children will be performing a montage of three of Shakespeare’s plays – A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth and the Tempest.
The festival is part of a transition project to prepare the primary school pupils for their move to the secondary school.
