GeoVS based at Cardiff Business Technology Centre, has launched its new ground-breaking charting technology, that will improve shipping traffic services for port authorities world wide.
This ground-breaking technology has been developed with research at universities in Hong Kong, France and Wales and allows monitoring ship movements with a much improved efficiency, and significantly enhanced situational awareness for ship vessel traffic operators. The C-Vu® 3D technology charts display land topography, multiple layers of chart data such as navigational symbols, dangers and port infrastructure, as well as ships moving in the monitored areas that is tailored for an easy interpretation.
