Rainforest charity, Size of Wales is raffling four pairs of tickets for the Wales v France match on Saturday 17 March in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
The £2-a-go online raffle will help raise money to help protect an area of rainforest the size of Wales. Winners will enjoy a hospitality suite with lunch provided for one of the biggest games in the Six Nations Europe’s Premier International Rugby Tournament.
Project Director, Hannah Scrase said “Our online raffle is simply a fun and easy way to join hundreds of others helping protect trees, people and wildlife in an area of rainforest the size of Wales. A £2 raffle ticket will help protect an area of rainforest the size of two rugby pitches”.
Wales is set to become the first country in the world to mobilise a national response to deforestation and climate change. This £2 million appeal will help to protect 2 million hectares of rainforest equivalent to the size of Wales itself. Funds raised will go to forest projects in Africa and South America.
