Alexander, 22, originally from Merthyr Tydfil now living in West Wales has always enjoyed playing guitar and writing music.
During the last 4 years, he has created a fan base around the world, but primarily the United Kingdom, and has now decided to push his efforts onto helping other people by channelling his music to help people in the Haiti accident.
Alex said “Like so many others I was devastated when I saw the images of the suffering in Haiti following the recent earthquakes. Having no money to donate personally, I decided to help in the best way I could with the only talent I have, music”
Alexander created the song, after some idea’s between himself and Eddie Burton, from Chesterfield, North England, who saw a lot of potential, and believed that the band ‘Brooke’ which Alex is the lead singer of, could be a massive help to a deserving cause, ‘save the children’.
The bands new single ‘Smiling Through The Clouds’ will be released digitally today (Monday 26th April) and 100% of profits go to ‘Haiti rescue Appeal’.
