Welsh Conservatives today announced the candidates to lead the Party’s 2011 regional campaign in South Wales Central.
Topping the regional list in the region will be Andrew RT Davies AM, with David Melding AM taking the second position and Cardiff Councillor Lyn Hudson third.
Commenting on the news, Andrew RT Davies said, “It is an honour to have been selected to lead the Welsh Conservative campaign in South Wales Central.
“Across South Wales communities my colleagues and I will be listening closely to the views of voters and working to ensure that their voices are heard.
“Many voters feel disappointed with Labour-Plaid and are looking for a clear alternative.
“I look forward to working with David Melding and candidates across the region to express our ambitious proposals to make Wales a healthier, greener and more prosperous place to live.”
