Special laptop stolen from school

An appeal for information is being made after a laptop was stolen from a school in Denbigh that had been specially adapted for a pupil.

The black coloured ‘Panasonic’ make laptop contains ‘touch typing facility’ and ‘speedy keys’ which have been programmed into the computer and helps a pupil at Ysgol Heulfre undertake her work.

An offender or offenders broke into a rear classroom sometime between Friday evening, November 19 and Monday morning, November 22. The Panasonic laptop, which has a silver slide button, was the only thing they took.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything or anyone acting suspiciously around the school on Gwaenynog Road in the town to contact police in Denbigh. They are similarly appealing to anyone who may have been offered the laptop for sale to contact North Wales Police on 101 (If in Wales) 0845 6071001 (Welsh language line) 0845 6071002 (English language line) or individuals can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously with information on 0800 555 111.
