This exciting new promotion means that new customers can join up to the Active Cardiff membership for just £17 for January and then £34 for the next 11 months.
Cabinet Member for Sport, Leisure and Culture, Cllr Ramesh Patel said: “During a time when local authorities are experiencing extremely tight budget cuts, it is essential that we continue to offer our customers excellent sport and leisure provision, at good value for money to compete with the private sector.
“The January Half Price Sale promotion provides an opportunity to access excellent sport and leisure amenities at an affordable price and the Active Cardiff membership scheme gives people the chance to make positive changes towards their health and wellbeing.”
The brand new promotion starts on Wednesday 1, January allowing centre users to benefit from the Price for Life* initiative on membership to all leisure facilities in Cardiff.
The Price for Life promotion offers people the opportunity to commit to paying the same standard monthly price (£34 per month) for their Active Card Leisure membership for as long as they remain members of the scheme.
This gives value for money to people who enjoy sport and leisure activities giving access to all Active Cardiff’s leisure facilities and working out cheaper than paying as you go for their use.
Active Cardiff is a simple scheme offering great value for money for use of amenities such as gyms, swimming pools, fitness classes, racquet sports, athletics and cycling with access to 11 leisure facilities and four community centres across the city.
Active Cardiff members will also have access to The Pathway to Fitness, a bespoke training and exercise programme to help them succeed in their fitness goals.
The five step approach includes, lifestyle screening, identifying goals, writing a programme unique to the customer, reviews and catch-up appointments, with regular on-going support throughout the member’s journey with Active Cardiff.
Many of Active Cardiff’s leisure facilities have undergone refurbishments, transforming them into modern, state of the art facilities that are fully accessible, and cater for all levels of fitness.
With all the very latest exercise equipment available, a team of highly qualified and experienced staff at each site will ensure everyone is given the support they need while they keep fit.
