There are reports that there has been a stabbing in Roath Park at 1.45pm today (Sunday 11 April).
Armed officers and dog handlers were among a contingent of around 30 police who were called to the the popular Cardiff park, which will have been busy on a sunny spring Sunday. Ninian Road and Shirley Road were closed while the force helicopter hovered over the scene.
South Wales Police said there were as yet few details of the incident.
