Denbighshire County Council has issued the formal planning certificate for the eagerly anticipated Prestatyn Retail Park.
The Council and the developer had needed to finalise legal agreements to ensure improvements to the town’s bus station, highway infrastructure and Listed Railway Station Buildings could be secured.
This has now been done and it is anticipated the main construction phase will commence on site around 26th September 2011.
There will be some further public consultation taking place in relation to some required highway works in the town in the next month with stores such as Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Next, River Island and Boots looking to be open in March 2013.
Plans showing the highway works will soon be available to inspect at The Scala Cinema and Arts Centre, Prestatyn with officers from Denbighshire County Council and the developer available to answer questions. A date will be announced shortly.
