TV celebrity Stephanie Booth wooed 200 delegates attending a Mid Wales marketing conference held at Y Plas in Machynlleth on Friday (19th November)
The sixth Mid Wales Marketing conference was opened by Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas AM. Speaking to delegates at the conference was successful hotelier Stephanie Booth, better known from the BBC TV series “Hotel Stephanie”
Russell George, Conservative Assembly Candidate for Montgomeryshire, attended the event. He said afterwards:
“Stephanie Booth gave a very inspiring talk and I’m delighted she came to Machynlleth. Tourism is one of Montgomeryshire’s biggest assets and I’m keen for the industry to be supported”
Delegate Colin Powel of Luxury Lodges Wales based in Trefeglwys said:
“Stephanie had a very good common sense perception of business”
