Conwy Local Authority has adopted their Strategy for the Modernisation of Conwy Primary Schools which can be viewed here.
Conwy County Borough Council has been carrying out an in-depth review of its Primary Schools over the last 3 years, which included a recent public consultation on the draft Strategy for the Modernisation of Conwy Primary Schools.
Conwy’s Cabinet met on 26 October, 2010 to discuss the findings of that public consultation.
The Cabinet agreed to formally adopt the Strategy for the Modernisation of Conwy Primary Schools.
The Cabinet also agreed to:
- consult with communities in detail (full impact assessment) on the options within the Implementation Plan; and
- undertake stakeholder meetings with those areas identified for ‘review in two years time’.
