A group of Public Services students from Coleg Gwent’s Usk Campus recently got the chance to find out what happens when Police are called to scenes of crime.
Students took part in a range of scenarios involving disorderly behaviour and petty theft with newly appointed officers in Cwmbran town centre.
Course tutor Simon Jones said: “The purpose of the task was to give students practical experience of the situations Police deal with on a day to day basis. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the day and it also gave them an opportunity to reflect on dealing with criminal behaviour as well as providing valuable feedback for Police.”
