Students plan summer arts festival

The imaginative talents of Swansea College students will be celebrated during the annual ‘Festival of the Arts’ at the Llwyn y Bryn campus.

From 14th – 18th June the corridors and classrooms will be transformed into a colourful exhibition space by students from a range of art, design, media, performance and photography courses.

Other highlights include ‘Alice in Wonderland Tea Party on the Lawn’ an art installation inspired by the classic Lewis Carroll novel.

Performing Arts students are taking to the stage on 23rd and 24th June with their interpretation of Martin Crimp’s experimental play ‘Attempts On Her Life.’

“As well as being a celebration of achievement, the exhibitions and performances at Llwyn y Bryn are the perfect opportunity for students to demonstrate their talents to the wider community,” says Diane Williams, Deputy Director of A Levels and the Arts.
