Pembrokeshire’s newest Country Fair is taking place against the stunning backdrop of Picton Castle near Haverfordwest next weekend. (October 2 and 3).
The Castle’s popular Autumn Plants and Crafts Fair has been extended this year to include a celebration of the countryside.
There will be falconry displays, fly fishing demonstrations and a chance to test your skill with a bow and arrow or an air rifle.
“We felt that we had the perfect setting here to host a celebration of the countryside,” said Castle director Dai Evans.
“The event will be taking place across the lawns and courtyard of the castle and we will also have 30 indoor stalls in our galleries selling upmarket quality gifts and crafts.”
There will also be a chance to watch crafters making leather belts, turning wood and even creating bath salts.
“The reduced entry price also includes entry to our prize-winning 40 acre woodland garden which is looking stunning in its Autumn colours,” added Mr Evans.
The Picton Castle Country Fair from 10.30am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday October 2nd and 3rd costs £3 (under 15s free)
