The Women’s Entrepreneurship Hub at the Glamorgan Business School is now halfway through a two year collaborative project designed to develop more support for aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs across Europe.
The project focuses on researching and developing new ways of teaching, and new materials relevant to women entrepreneurs. The new teaching methods and materials were trialled at Summer Schools last month in Glamorgan and two other partner institutions in France and Lithuania.
A total of 212 aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs have taken part in the focus groups. The findings have contributed to the development of teaching approaches and materials in each of the 5 thematic areas.
The feedback from participants has been excellent and the next phase involves developing pilot mentoring (including e-mentoring) and work shadowing schemes linking women entrepreneurs and women’s entrepreneurship educators in the 3 partner countries.
