Over 300 residents attended the Change4Life event in Ystrad Mynach Park recently.
Families with children aged 0-4 took part in fun and interactive activities throughout the day including buggy fit, parachute games, giving meals a healthy twist, baby massage, Busy Feet, Smile Please, baby music and Stories on the Move.
Adults were given a hand to make small changes to their family lifestyles to help their kids lead healthy, happy and longer lives. Moving more, eating well and teaching good habits will prevent kids developing serious illness when they are adults.
All attendees received a goody bag with lots of information, top tips, giveaways, and ideas to try at home. Individuals who participated in all sessions also received a Change4Life T Shirt.
Information was also gathered about activities and support that residents would welcome in their local communities.
