The whole of Division One East fell victim to the winter weather but in SWALEC League Division One West a try by Jordan Skidmore in the dying minutes secured a draw for third placed Corus against league leaders Whitland.
A Stephen Jones penalty edged the hosts into a 3-0 halftime lead. Wing Carwyn Davies raced clear to dive over and Jones added the extras to give the hosts a 10-0 lead. But minutes later prop Bleddyn Gant crashed over and with just minutes remaining Jordan Skidmore broke free to complete the comeback and secure a share of the spoils.
Elsewhere Bonymaen secured a Boxing Day bonus-point with a 37-13 win over Cwmllynfell. Fly-half Ian Brooks was the hero, contributing 17 points, while fullback Richard Williams, centre Jordan Poole, flanker Nick Clancey and second-row Mike Thomas all scored tries.
Bottom placed Builth Wells sprung a surprise with an 22 -17 away win at Camarthen Athletic. Builth raced into a 19-8 halftime lead thanks to tries from Ed Jenkins and Shaun Hughes, and the boot of John Thurston, while Viv Jenkins crossed for Camarthen Athletic. The host launched a comeback in the second-half thanks to three penalties from Ricky Williams but a timely drop-goal from Builth fly-half edged the visitors into a 22-17 lead, which the hosts were unable to surpass.
Tenth placed Narberth got in on the act with a 29-3 win over sixth placed Felinfoel. Tom Bornell, Richard Davies, Mark Heywood and Nick Jones all scored tries for the visitors while Craig James kicked seven points and Nick Jones two.
Meanwhile in the Bridgend derby there was a bore-fest at Brewery Field with a 3-3 draw. Fullback Stuart Morris nudged Bridgend Athletic in to a narrow lead but five minutes later the Ravens fly half Gareth Howells struck a three pointer of is own to salvage a draw.
