Top tie of the third round of the SWALEC Plate will take place at Llantwit Farde where Two East leaders Mountain Ash will be the visitors.
Ash can already boast a league victory at Cae Fardre having won 21-15 earlier in the season and as they are still unbeaten at the top of the division they will be confident of moving into the next round.
Three South East side Brecon have been handed a tricky home tie against Tylorstown of Two East, but as the visitors are struggling in the league, the Parc de Pugh club could boost their season with a surprise victory.
North Wales sides Ruthin and Mold meet at Cae Ddol and in the recent league meeting, the win went Mold’s way after a 27-25 success. Mold are still unbeaten in the league but Ruthin could turn the tables in this cup tie.
Tondu will be expecting to take their league form into the cup when they entertain Heol y Cyw of Three South East. The Waterwheelers are well placed in Two West but their visitors are only one point off the pace in their division and they are sure to make life difficult for their hosts.
