Tai Ceredigion New Build Provides a Family Home

New Tai Ceredigion bungalow - group shotOn Thursday, 31 October Ceredigion County Council Leader Ellen ap Gwynn joined Steve Jones, Chief Executive of Tai Ceredigion (far right) and Stephen Cripps Chair of the Board at TC (far left) to officially welcome Paul and Claire Drakeley, their son Milo and daughter Esme to their new purpose built home at Talybont.   

The fully wheelchair accessible bungalow has provided Paul and Claire with the quality surroundings to raise their family and to care for their disabled son Milo.  With support from Ceredigion County Council and Social Housing Grant from the Welsh Government, Tai Ceredigion built its first ever new build home, which has incorporated all the essential equipment and facilities to provide the best life for the family.

Stephen Cripps, Chairman of Tai Ceredigion’s Board added, “This is a good example of how housing associations can help meet the needs of local people by providing suitable housing which transforms people’s lives for the better.”
