Work is underway to find a Development Partner for the project to redevelop Deeside Leisure Centre.
An OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) notice has been placed to invite any expressions of interest and five
Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) have been returned.
Each PQQ has been analysed and a short-list of four was drawn up, who were then interviewed.
The top two companies will then be invited to present to members and officers how they intend to deliver the project.
A Development Partner should be identified and contracted by late March 2010.
Flintshire County Council’s Executive heard this progress at its meeting on Tuesday, 5 January.
