There will be a Teddy Bear Exhibition in the church from 11am Friday 27 August until noon Sunday 28 August.
On Saturday afternoon there will be a Teddy parachute drop from the tower for teddies brave enough to try it!
Then at 10am on Sunday all teddies are invited to come to church for a blessing, when the service will focus on the teddy bear as a symbol of love.
All parishioners, local businesses and other organisations are invited to be involved in what we hope will be a fun event to raise money for the Tower Appeal by donating or loaning a teddy to be exhibited during the exhibition.
All teddies that want to be included in the exhibition are brought to the church between 2-4pm on Thursday 25 August and labelled with their owner or sponsoring business or organisation name. At the end of the exhibition teddies will be either returned to their owners or sponsors, or auctioned with the money raised being donated to the NSPCC.
If you wish your teddy to be part of the exhibition, then forms to register your interest are available in the church or phone 01834 812078 / 812830 / 812953.
