A free, family friendly event with free workshops is taking place in Hay-on-Wye on the 24th-26th of May.
The event showcases the talents of many rural crafts people and artists and gives visitors an opportunity to purchase their wares, listen to their stories and try their hand at many of the crafts on offer.
The Big Skill was formed to promote rural, handmade, sustainable and recycled skills and crafts. It aims to promote the rural craft industry in Wales and ensure that those in remote locations have the same opportunities as in bigger towns and cities.
The Big Skill is a CIC and provides training and accreditation in courses such as hedge laying , dry stone walling etc.
