Several events are being arranged in Denbighshire as part of a major clean-up operation to target litter and rubbish along the North Wales coast.
The Big Spring Clean is a multi-agency, week long, coastal clean-up to be held between 21 and 27 May as part of the Welsh Assembly Government’s Tidy Towns Initiative. Community clean-ups will take place across North Wales and it will be an opportunity to raise awareness about the dangers of throwing litter and fly-tipping.
Activities in Denbighshire will be held at the following locations:
- Monday 23rd May 11:30am-2:30pm, meeting at car park next to the Marine Lake and Blue Bridge.
- Tuesday 24th May 10am-1pm, meeting Barkby Beach car park.
- Friday 27th May 9:30am-12, meeting at Rhyl Pavilion car park.
Among the organisations taking part across North Wales are Denbighshire County Council, Conwy County Borough Council, Gwynedd Council, Isle of Anglesey County Council and Keep Wales Tidy.
