The Cardi Bach is back – Ceredigion’s popular coastal bus service will be operating from 26 June to 26 September 2010, every day of the week except Wednesday.
Copies of the 2010 timetable can be accessed on www.WalkCardiganBay.com
The Cardi Bach operates between Cardigan and New Quay, linking coastal villages along its route. It offers a stress-free way to enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery of southern Ceredigion and opens up opportunities to enjoy the Ceredigion Coast Path. The bus offers a bike rack that can carry two bicycles.
Since the introduction of the Cardi Bach in 2004, passenger numbers have increased year on year with some 4,000 people having using the service in 2009.
The Cardi Bach is supported by the Countryside Council for Wales, the Tourism Partnership Mid Wales and town and community councils along the route: Cardigan, Ferwig, Aberporth, Penbryn, Llangrannog, Llandysiliogogo, Llanllwchaearn and New Quay.
The service is organised by the Coast and Countryside Unit within Ceredigion County Council’s Department for Environmental Services and Housing and is operated by Richards Brothers of Cardigan.
