Flintshire County Council have to announced that the new Warren Bank Interchange at Broughton is now open.
The new interchange at the former A55 Junction 35A means that there is now a new eastbound on and westbound off slip road to add to the existing westbound on, and eastbound off slip roads. This has now created a full interchange between the A55 and the A5104 Mold Road.
Lesters Lane, which has been closed for the duration of the construction works, has been reopened.
Note on junction numbering:
- Warren Bank Interchange formerly J35A (west) will be signed as J36
- Broughton Shopping Park formerly J35A(east ) will be signed as J36A
The new numbers will come into effect early in the New Year when alterations to A55 junction numbers in England have been made by the Highways Agency.
