This group of pupils are celebrating after topping the poll in a School Council election at Haverfordwest VC School.
The 14 youngsters proved popular with their peers when they put themselves forward to represent their classes this week.
Organised by Pembrokeshire County Council, in partnership with the school, the ballot was modelled as closely as possible on a real life election.
Thirty five young candidates gave a presentation on why they should be elected before each class cast their votes in a special polling station in the school hall.
Councillor Huw George, Cabinet member for Children and Young People announced the results and the winning candidates were presented with School Council badges.
“We want to encourage young people to vote in the future by familiarising them with the democratic process and there is no better way than by getting involved in elections while at school,” said Councillor George.
