One of Swansea’s top cultural venues is throwing open its doors this winter with 30 top class free events.
Kicking off the ‘Free: 30 Sessions’ countdown on Friday October 30 are Welsh musicians Sweet Baboo who are giving a free live performance of their latest album, Hello Wave.
Huw Stephens of BBC Radio 1 has previously said of Sweet Baboo, ‘An astonishing musician well worth investing time to listen to. One of Wales’ finest.’
The performance starts at 3.30pm on Friday 30 October.
And this is just the beginning as more music events at Glynn Vivian will be planned over the coming weeks in the run-up to Christmas.
Autumn exhibitions including craft show Diversions which opened 22 October.
And cult movie fans should be blocking off lunchtime on Friday 27 November 1pm, as local film maker Marc Price takes time out to return home for a special free talk and screening of his critically-acclaimed zombie classic, Colin.
