“The Welsh language is a skill that is highly valued by business and industry in Wales. But if we are to maximise its economic potential then we need to ensure that there is a sufficient level of skills and education training available.
“There is a demand for Welsh speakers from the private and public sector and it’s important that we ensure that there is appropriate skills training available to meet this need. This means ensuring a sufficient level apprenticeships and Higher and Further Education courses through the medium of Welsh and in a range of fields.
“This is why Plaid Cymru secured more Welsh-medium apprenticeships in our budget deal with the Welsh Government.
