Are you a budding music journalist aged 14-19 and living in Rhondda Cynon Taf?
Then don’t miss the opportunity to show off your writing skills and win some great prizes, in a competition run by Rhondda Cynon Taf Cultural Services.
Winners in the competition will have the chance to see Super Furry Animals play an exclusive gig at the Coal Exchange, Cardiff Bay.
They will also be invited to a writing masterclass with Gail Griffiths, journalist and editor with Plugged In – the music magazine for Wales.
The 20 young journalists selected will also have a chance to see their live review of the Super Furry Animals gig on November 20 printed in Plugged In magazine. The competition is a Rhondda Cynon Taf Cultural Services Arts Development and 14-19 Pathways Creative Industries Steering Group initiative.

PLUGGED IN magazine was launched by Gail Griffiths and her husband, photographer Darren Warner in Pontypridd in 2007.
The glossy magazine is now available across Wales and provides a platform for many young photographers, journalists and up-and-coming bands.
