An exciting opportunity has arisen for Denbighshire shopkeepers and managers to take part in a masterclass created by a renowned retail guru and television star, Mary Portas, in partnership with Skillsmart Retail.
The Mary Portas Taster session event has been arranged by the Denbighshire County Council Business Support Team, in partnership with Coleg Llandrillo Cymru Retail Skills Shop and Denbigh Business Group.
The event will take place at the Brookhouse Mill on Wednesday, 22 February, with registration starting at 6pm. Only 15 places are available for this event and places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
Michelle Rendell, Denbighshire’s Business Growth Officer, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership to be offering this event free of charge. Delegates will gain a true understanding of every aspect of running a retail business, including having a vision for the business, buying and selling, creating displays, marketing for more customers and much more.
“This is one of a number of activities on-going to promote local independent businesses and providing an opportunity for the owners or managers to enhance and build on their retail skills, so that they can do all they can to make sure their business flourishes”.
