A Vidal Sassoon-trained hair stylist is the new Salon Manager at prestigious Springs Spa in Llanrhaeadr, near Denbigh.
Jenny Williams, originally from Chester, trained at top city salon Raymond Jason – now Jason Lee – where she began her career.
She said: “It was a very exclusive salon and the training was top quality. They had their own in-house Sassoon trainer.
“We catered for a very wide clientele with a few lords and ladies and it was a lot of fun working there.”
Jenny, whose husband, Tom, is a builder, lives in Llanrhaeadr and the couple have three sons aged between 12 and six.
After starting her working life in Chester she worked in Prestatyn and then at Springs where she was for seven years before taking a maternity break, returning last summer.
She is now in charge of the salon which is housed in the Grade Two-listed former stable block of Llanrhaeadr Hall with a team of four stylists and she said: “It’s a lovely set up with a great team and I love working here.
“It just provides the complete package because as well as the hair salon there is the spa with its pool and sauna and beauty treatment rooms, restaurant and a fully-equipped and staffed gym.
“Having your hair done should be a pleasant experienced and at Springs it is and there is even parking so you don’t have to panic about how long you’re here.”
Springs Spa Director Claire Anwyl said: “We’re delighted to have Jenny in charge of the salon with her wealth of experience and the fact that she’s so well known.
“We’re very proud of the set-up we have here at Springs and of the range of treatments and services we provide in what is a fabulous setting.”
