Torfaen 10k

A 10k run has been organised for Sunday 5 December in support of the Mic Morris Sporting trust.

The Mic Morris trust was set up by Torfaen council and Gwent Police in 1986 to help encourage young people to get involved in a range of sports.

The charity is named after a local policeman who was an excellent British athlete, who unfortunately died during a training run at the age 24.

The run will begin at 10am from Cwmavon Road, Blaenavon and finish at Pontypool Park. Entries are £8 affiliated and £10 unattached, entries on the day will be an additional £2 and anyone is welcome to take part.

You can pick an entry form up from Pontypool Active Living Centre, Cwmbran Stadium and Fairwater Leisure Centre or call Christine Philpott for more information on 01633 628936 or email [email protected]
