Tourism operators in Pembrokeshire are being invited to a special event next month aimed at helping them market and brand their businesses.
Promoting Pembrokeshire is organised jointly by Pembrokeshire County Council, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and Pembrokeshire Tourism – the County’s tourism association.
Held twice a year it aims to inform tourism businesses about the latest developments in the industry so that they are better equipped to inspire visitors to visit and return to the County.
It also allows the main agencies to update the trade on how they are promoting and marketing Pembrokeshire to the rest of the UK.
This autumn’s event will be held at Slebech Park on the Eastern Cleddau estuary on Monday November 8th from 10am to 4.45pm.
It will include presentations on Digital Tourism, The Clydey Story and Iron Man Wales 2011 while afternoon workshops will look at using Facebook and Twitter, as well as how to use photographs and written copy creatively on tourism websites.
Space is limited and places must be booked in advance by 29th October. To book a place log onto http://promotepembrokeshire-rss.eventbrite.com or phone 01646 622228.
