A public consultation into proposals for traffic calming in Bagillt High Street will take place on Wednesday 16 July at Bagillt Community Centre.
The exhibition will be open between 4pm and 7pm and provide local residents and others with an opportunity to share their views on the plans relating to the proposed scheme of traffic calming.
The High Street was identified by Flintshire County Council for the scheme due to a high number of pedestrians involved in road accidents. It conforms to the Authority’s traffic calming policy and will be funded by the Welsh Government.
Councillor Bernie Attridge, Cabinet Member for Environment said: “Officers from the County Council will be in attendance at the exhibition to discuss the scheme and clarify any aspects about the proposal that may be raised.
“The results of the consultation will be considered and used to help guide the development and design of any proposed scheme that will be put forward for agreement.
“I would encourage local residents to attend the consultation so that as broad a range of views as possible are received.”
