South Africa will visit Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on Saturday June 5, for the first of Wales’ summer internationals.
The afternoon kick off is at 2:30pm and fans travelling to the match are advised to plan their journeys well in advance and arrive early.
Fans who do intend bringing their cars can ease worries over congestion and parking costs by car sharing and using park and ride services.
The sites can be accessed from J33 of the M4: follow the signs to the available location at the time of your arrival. The service costs £5 a car.
The sites will open at 9am, with the first bus leaving at 9:30am. They will close at 7pm, with the last services leaving pick-up points at 6:30pm.
The services are accessible for the disabled, people with movement difficulties and wheelchair users, with dedicated parking adjacent to the bus pick-up. Low floor buses and raised kerbs at both pick up and drop off points will also be in use throughout the day.
Coaches should leave the M4 at Junction 32, where they will be directed to Sophia Gardens. Parking here costs £5 and full driver facilities are available.
Parking sites are also being provided for the Stereophonics concert at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday June 5.
These can be accessed by following signs from J33 of the M4 and are park and walk sites only. This service costs £10 a car.
The sites will open at 9am and will close an hour after the end of the event. Stadium gates open at 3:30pm.
Visitors travelling to either of these events are strongly advised to plan their journeys well in advance. Outside of the city on Saturday, increased traffic is expected on the M4 as the Celtic Manor Wales Open continues. In Cardiff city centre, two planned demonstrations are also expected to cause some disruption.
