Wales’ autumn internationals continue this weekend, with Wales taking on Argentina at the Millennium Stadium. A crowd of 45,000 are expected to attend the match with kick off at 2.30pm.
The best way to travel to the event is by public transport and coach wherever possible. Those bringing their cars into the city can ease worries over congestion and parking costs by using the Council’s park and ride services.
The park and ride site can be accessed from J33 of the M4. The park and ride car park will be at Cardiff County Hall (CF10 4UW). The cost to park will be £6 per car.
The car park will open at 9.30am with the first bus leaving at 9.30am. The last bus will leave the pick-up point at 6pm, with the car park closing at 6.30pm.
Coach parking will be provided off Sophia Close where there is dedicated coach parking areas with driver facilities. This is £10 per coach. Any event car parking in Sophia Close will also be £10 as the car park is within a five minute walk of the stadium.
The route to the front of the rail station, Station Approach in Central Square from its junction with Wood Street, will be closed from 10am to 10pm, with access for buses to the bus station being maintained.
There will be a small road closure of Westgate Street and all side streets off Westgate St, Park St and Scott Road from 12:30pm until 5:30pm.
