Chief Superintendent Mark Jones said: “Today, North Wales Police officers and staff learnt of the tragic death of their friend and colleague, Detective Constable Heather Bickley and her two sons, Oscar and Felix.
Heather was a trusted, respected and experienced officer, who was held in high regard by all who worked with her.
Heather joined North Wales Police on the 15th of August 1994 and she subsequently worked in Bangor, Holyhead and Amlwch.
Heather has worked in the Western Division’s Public Protection Unit on Anglesey since the year 2000. During this time, Heather was an integral part of a dedicated team responsible for safeguarding children.
Heather pursued this role with a passion. Our thoughts are with her husband John, her family and the community at this time. She will be sorely missed by her friends and colleagues.”
